The European PhD School on 'Power Electronics, Electrical Machines, Energy Control and Power Systems' is organized by University of Cassino and ECPE. It's an unique event in Europe for young power electronics engineers from academia to exchange experience and technical information about their PhD projects.

Early bird registration fee: 300 Euro incl. Italian VAT (until 8 April 2024)
Regular registration fee: 350 Euro incl. Italian VAT

The registration fee for PhD students includes:

  • digital proceedings
  • access to the Companies Exhibition
  • guided excursion
  • social dinner (incl. transfer), lunch and coffee breaks
  • pizza dinner at the Angevin Castle of Gaeta
  • free internet access

With registration you will be asked to send the following documents before 15 May 2024:

  • your CV, following the 'European CV' standard as PDF 
  • the filled research activity document as PDF (will be send to you with confirmation email)
  • your poster as PDF (Each PhD student attending the PhD School, is requested to prepare a poster of her/his research activity. For first year PhD students the poster can be prepared with the planned project and activities.)

Sending back these documents is mandatory. We will prepare a download link with all PDF posters of participants who agreed to fowarding to other participants.

Only last year PhD´s or PhD´s who finalized great part of the PhD program can participate to the Pitch Session and the PhD School Award.

Payment possible by Paypal and bank transfer.
If you will not pay personally, please make sure, that you provide full and correct invoice address details latest one week after your registration. Otherwise you as participant will be invoiced.
ECPE as invoicing party is registered for tax issues in Italy, but is not established inside Italy. Therefore, the invoice will be send by email as PDF attachment. Invoices will not be provided via SDI.
Reverse charge (invoice without VAT) is only possible with a valid VAT number.  

Participation

Confirmation of registration will be sent by email after registration.
At the end of the PhD School, each participant will receive a certification of attendance. 4 ECTS credits certification will be issued in case of successful participation in the final exam.

 

Conditions of Participation

  • The registration fee for PhD students includes: digital proceedings, access to the companies exhibition, guided excursion, welcome reception, social dinner, lunch, coffee breaks and free internet access
  • With sending the CV the registered delegate confirms that the data will be provided to the participating companies.
  • Photo material will be created at the event. Potentially a picture of you can be taken and used for editorial reporting within ECPE and University of Cassino Communication.
  • If the event cannot take place because of force majeure or for good cause, a change to an online format or a cancellation is possible. The delegates shall be informed immediately. In this case, the participant is able to cancel free of charge. No claims beyond this shall be entertained.
  • Registration fee will be refund with the 80% of the paid amount if cancellation is performed before 2 May 2024. After this date registration fee won’t be eligible for refund. To cancel your registration, please send a cancellation request via email to Marietta Di Dio, ECPE.
