EPE'22 ECCE Conference in Hannover, Germany was a great success!

With more than 450 presented papers and about 850 participants the EPE Conference had a great re-start after two online editions.
During the conference the EPE Awardees of 2022 were recognized. 

2022 EPE Outstanding Young EPE Member Award
Alexandre BATTISTON, first author of the paper presented during the virtual EPE 2021 ECCE Europe conference “High-Power / High-Voltage (250 kW / 750 V) SiC-Based Inverter for Electric Vehicle Applications” by Alexandre Battiston, Laïd Kefsi, Misa Milosavljevic and Antoine Sabrie, IFP Energies nouvelles, Reuil-Malmaison, France

Baris CIFTCI, first author of the paper presented during the virtual EPE 2021 ECCE Europe conference “Wireless control of modular multilevel converter autonomous submodules” by Baris Ciftci, Lennart Harnefors, Xiongfei Wang, James Gross, Staffan Norrga and Hans-Peter Nee, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden
 

2022 EPE Outstanding Service Award
Mario MARCHESONI, for his constant support to EPE activities, to EPE- and now EPE ECCE Europe conferences, and in particular for being the General Chairman of the EPE ECCE Europe 2019 Conference
 

2022 EPE Outstanding Achievement Award
Peter ZACHARIAS. The outstanding achievement award is awarded to Prof. Peter Zacharias for the contributions in the field of power electronic converters and in particular in passive, magnetic components. The book “Magnetic Components – Basics and Applications” is fundamental for the design, research, teaching, and industrial development processes. The innovative research and contributions by Professor Zacharias have brought substantial progress to power electronics.
